Fundraising Research and Consultancy Ltd was formed as a result of an agreed management buy-out of the fundraising research and consultancy services provided by the Chapter One Group which was founded in 1979 to help charities and non-profit organisations to be more effective in the areas of fundraising, marketing and business management.
We offer both strategic and tactical input for the creation and execution of fundraising organisational development plans for organisations of all sizes. We have helped with such projects as the start-up of new charities whose future depends on a successful launch appeal; creating a development office for a higher education institution; assisting organisations whose fundraising needed widening and developing and guiding many of the UK’s largest charities who need specialist advice to develop their base of fundraising, expand their market share and improve their effectiveness.
