Costs are time-based dependent on the detail of the research brief, understanding the USP’s of the case, on the number of prospects to be located, the complexity of the request (those with an international slant may be more complex and take longer), the depth of profiles required and the presentational requirements.
Given our highly bespoke approach to meeting your needs, we are only able to provide meaningful costs once an outline brief has been explored, either in person or over the telephone. We believe that this contact is essential in helping us to deliver the very highest quality report to the client.
Our fees are then based on the specific composition and level of service supplied, and are agreed in advance.
Because we understand that cost and value for money are decision-making factors that need to be considered alongside quality and fit for purpose we have outlined some approximate price ranges for our services.
Research
Our research fees range from £20 for brief exploration of a particular individual using our Deposited Budget research service up to £40,000 or more for very large prospecting or donor audit projects.
Donor Digest
Annual subscription to the Donor Digest, our weekly wealth magazine and digest of the UK national press, which is used by existing clients to update their records, keep an eye on existing supporter activities and to identify new prospects, costs just £495.
This price also includes a quarterly and annual index, to enable easy look-up and use of information, and copies of the New Year and Birthday Honours. Please telephone to request an example copy.
Prospect Research
As a very precise science, there are a number of factors that need to be considered when quoting for a prospect research project, the type of data required, previous research that has already been conducted, the scope of the particular market segment and the type and volume of research needed. Approximate costs for our prospect research services range from £6,000 for 25 profiles depending upon the make-up of the research required and the blend of individual, trust and corporate prospects required. Quotes for larger or smaller projects can be arranged following receipt of a full brief or in-depth exploratory discussions with one of our Directors.
Donor Audits
The costs of auditing your donor records and profiling a pre-agreed percentage of the top potential major donors usually range upwards from £8,000 for 50 profiles to £24,000 for much larger research projects. Charges vary depending upon the number of and type of records to be reviewed and the level of profiles that you wish to locate from the research. Costs can be negotiated for smaller pieces of work depending upon your available budget and specific research requirements. We can also undertake Trust donor audits at a cost of between £6,000 and £14,000 depending upon the scope of the research.
For clients with ongoing development programmes we regularly undertake yearly mini-audits. The cost for any audit following the first main audit is at a much reduced cost.
Deposited Budget
The Deposited Budget service enables clients to deposit money with us, usually £500.00 or more, to be spent on ad-hoc research requests as and when they need them. Some of our clients have found that this is an effective way of attributing research budget and monitoring spend and have decided to deposit much larger sums of money to be spent on specific research projects and/or consultancy throughout a given financial year.
Consultancy
Our consultancy rates range from £850.00 per day to £1,100.00 per day for strategic planning.
